The plant was repremanded many times for polluting the Ohio river. My friends claim Monsanto got around sanctions by opening the refuse spigots into the Oh river in the wee small hours of the morning to avoid discovery. They claimed the liquid would run blood red out of the huge spigots. Bottom line? This part of SW Ohio has an extremely high incidence of cancer.
