Don’t try this at home.
The latest Sony Bravia TV ad — featuring massive paint explosions — took 10 days and 250 people to film. Huge quantities of paint were needed to accomplish this, which had to be delivered in 1-tonne trucks and mixed on-site by 20 people. By award-winning director Jonathan Glazer. This is too good to miss.

1001 Journals
The hugely popular 1000 Journals Project has that many journals circulating the globe, with people adding writings, drawings, paintings, photographs, and collages, then sending them on to the next-in-line. The hope is that most will end up back in San Francisco in a fabulous art installation. My wife and I each contributed to a journal, I featured the project in TheScreamOnline, and now a book about it is in the making.
At this point it is near impossible to get on the list, but there is hope: 1001 Journals is a new round of journals and, in this case, you can start your own.

TED Talks
Each year, TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) hosts some of the world’s most fascinating people: Trusted voices and convention-breaking mavericks, icons, and geniuses. The talks they deliver have had such a great impact, TED thought they deserved a wider audience. So now, for the first time, they will release a new talk each week to inspire, intrigue, and awaken the imagination. For best effect, plan to listen to at least three, start to finish (they have a cumulative effect.) If you have a curious soul and an open mind, we think you’ll be hooked…
The current issue of TheScreamOnline features the exquisite photography of 2005 TED awardee Edward Burtynsky.
